Hi, I recently just got an email notification from my buyer that his account is in the negative due to a dispute/claim that was apparently opened by me. The message states: "We were recently notified that you disputed the transaction below with your financial institution or credit card company." I tried calling my card company to have this resolved, but their claims department doesn't seem to be there, I've been on hold for hours (Bank of America) I already 'canceled' the dispute via Paypal, but PayPal states: "Thanks for letting us know that you don't wish to proceed with this claim. Since you initiated this claim with your financial institution or credit card company, you'll need to contact them directly to close it. PayPal can't close this claim with your financial institution on your behalf." So I wanted to know if it's ANY WAY possible that instead of the seller being the one hit with this negative charge amount, to make it so it's under my account instead? This was filed for a transaction that belonged to me alone, and whomever I sent the money to should not be the one who has to suffer for this. I want to resolve this dispute, but to first and foremost make it so if anything, it's MY paypal account that's hit with the amount owed, not the seller. Secondly the financial institution I suspected of opening this case, also filed it for a transaction that was completely unrelated to theirs, so they're basically trying to dispute money for the wrong date, and essentially does not belong to them, therefor they're trying to take money from the wrong person; my seller who I've provided money on a separated date, completely unrelated to the amount that was sent to them.
