@alexmerrick the original dispute remained as closed but a new one was able to be submitted once talking with a rep on facebook chat. Just had to send them an email with the info. I know its frustrating but don't give up everyone. Once you can reach a real person and provide the info you should be on your path to a refund.  ... View more

@alexmerrick Yeah, honestly the exact same thing happened with me. I panicked and made the wrong report in desperation and then was denied and found myself feeling **bleep**. And my account was then more or less frozen until I changed my password and sent in a pic of my photo id.  On facebook you're right they are most bots, but I found that by staying in the messenger with the bot someone real eventually replied after my constant messaging haha. Silly and bad way of doing business but what can you do. I feel bad for the people working to try and help, getting the full brunt of frustrated customers like me, so I try and remind myself to be nicer even though I want to throttle someone. @alexmerrick  The exact same thing happened to me, but I just today got someone from paypal facebook to reverse it and let me dispute it on the grounds of not receiving anything. I suggest you try reaching out to them there or twitter like someone else mentioned. You can even give them this thread and let them know that many people have experienced the same issue with this fraudulent website. Good luck and please keep us posted    ... View more

I was able to contact paypal through facebook and they contacted the frauds email and say that they have until May 25th to supply them with details about the transaction. I am confident they will not since its a fake email, so I am thinking I should get a refund in the end of all this. I will update this thread when any new info becomes available. paypal dismissed my claim right away, so I am quite upset. But I just filed a claim with the CAFC Fraud Reporting System (Canadian anti fraud center) and will contact local law enforcement as well.  ... View more

I am sorry so many people have had this same problem with this fake website. But together with this growing list of us perhaps we can force paypal to do the right thing and stop facilitating fraud. Never give up. In the end I will sue paypal if it comes to it, so stay tuned.  ... View more
