It's amazing that if I need to transfer from my checking account into PayPal that it happens instantaneously, however when I finally use PayPal to receive money that it would be easier to go and get a root canal done than to actually make a withdrawal. I had a hold placed on the funds from an eBay sale, I get that. New eBay account and all, everyone wants to make sure its legit. But what they fail to mention is that when they FINALLY release the hold and you attempt to do the laughable "instant" transfer, the only thing instant about it is how fast the funds disappear from your PayPal account. Please tell me why a withdrawal needs further "review" when all of my info has been verified for years, but if I needed to buy something or send someone money I'd be willing to be it woupd come out immediately. So almost 72 hours later and I'm still waiting. Had another payment come off hold, so I figured rather than the "instant" transfer this time, I would do a bank transfer... and wouldn't ya know it. Bam under review... the typical 1 day transfer has an estimated clearing date of 7 days away... this is absolutely ridiculous with how long this takes.. Not that paypal will care, but after (IF) this money actually clears I will no longer be using this service.
