So I had 3 transactions on my account 2 months ago and reported them as soon as I realised these unauthorised transactions happened. PayPal took a couple of days to come back saying I authorised the payments, yet I'm disputing it. Got the normal phone calls harrassing to accept the negative amount on my PayPal account while I wait for a solution. I have always said "no" and got put through to talk to someone else, who would typically agree that the transactions were not normal for my purchasing habits. Magically this last time a "no" somehow got interrupted as a yes. So in effect PayPal has stolen money I never authorised them to take. Now thanks to this virus contacting PayPal directly seems almost impossible. Anyone know of any decent way to contact PayPal before I go back to my bank to force them to return the money? I'd prefer not to have to go through and set up another account if they ban mine.
