Hello, I started receiving emails a few minutes ago that I had added a phone number to my account, then I authorized a payment to the PayPalGivingFund (GoFundMe), then a receipt for it using a Visa, then from the PayPal Giving Fund Official Donation Receipt. Four emails in the matter of minutes to my PayPal account email address. I logged in (not from the emails) to my account and none of these transactions exist and the phone number was not added to my account. I sent the emails off the the spoof@paypal.com address and they responded that they were NOT FAKE!! WHAT?? I have checked my bank and no money withdrawals yet. All the emails have the wrong name on them as well, but I looked at the email headers and they are coming from paypal. The links in the site are paypal. I opened the browser dev tools looking for a re-direct, it's PayPal? Did someone open another account with my email address?? How is this possible and am I responsible for the funds?
