I have repeated  that my funds are not held simply because my funds are never held-by the terms of the user agreement my funds can not be held as I am in the money market.   I believe in the class action and that ultimately there will be a settlement. Will it be major funds=no not at all but it just may change the way PayPal does business.   Don't contact me for I have had enough of being a cheerleader.   Au revoir femsol   "Love all, trust a few, do wrong to no one~.”William Shakespeare   I thought you were a contract lawyer!  I am a former legal assistant (for the largest law firm in Oklahoma) and I knew by the way you write that you know what you are talking about.  Only lawyers know what you wrote and I knew from my previous law firm experience that you are the "real deal."   Thanks for your input regarding this issue.  Too bad others didn't realize the truth in what you wrote.  Of course, I wish you would not leave this forum but you have to do what is best for you.  I'm sure it is very frustrating trying to help others with this issue only to have things twisted and thrown back at you as inaccuracies.   Thanks again and best wishes. @Dontlikeitman wrote: If you don't pay your ebay bill, after so long they WILL shut you down from selling or buying on the ebay site until they get there money. BUT there is kinda a good stand point at this also when you think about it.    Now if they shut you down if you don't pay your bill, and sense they own paypal and paypal is holding your money anyways. Get ahold of ebay and tell them that when paypal release your money, you will then pay them. You see if folks does or can't sell on ebay, that will also hurt there business as well... then two birds will start to fall. You see there is another member on here Sureplusdude, He loves to stick up for paypal alot, he keeps telling people that doesn't like there funds being hold and when and if they don't like what paypal is doing  and they say they won't use paypal or ebay again, he tells them good luck or play by the rules. Well I been studying things about ebay and paypal and there policys. There is flaws and also weak points.. we do just what Sureplusdude has been telling us all along and play by the rules even though paypal isn't though. Here is the weak point, paypal works with ebay, ebay owns paypal. Well instead of fighting them, we just stand still with ebay. Now I know what your going to say, how in the heck will that work. Well here it is. Ebay makes money off of us sellers do they not? well seeing on how paypal came down with a bad case of the hold funds fever with ebay and is holding peoples funds from the ebay sales. Stop selling on ebay for awhile and go to another online place to sell and find another online place for reciving money through. What money you have in your paypal account, take out.. Keep your accounts down below your ebay bill dues. Now take and remove your banking info as well, take if you have a paypal debit card and go on ebay and put that in for your ebay billing dues. Now with paypal holding the funds and not release them, they have the money, now when ebay comes after you for your payment for your ebay selling.. they are kinda **bleep**ing them selfs now because your paypal account is drained and they can't **bleep** the funds from it because what money you do have in there paypal is holding and won't release it. Now when ebay comes to you. Tell them to go to paypal for the money as they are the ones indeed that has your money for your paying your selling dues on ebay.      Now if ebay sets out to get a collection agency, tell them your money for selling dues for ebay are indeed hold up with paypal as they will not release the funds to you because it's there rules (because with you not selling nothing on ebay, you have nothing to ship out and you  don't have to use paypal). And that when paypal wakes up and decided to release the funds then your ebay dues will get paid. You see, by doing this, you are following there rules. You stop selling on ebay, paypal isn't getting use or collecting funds to hold.   If you want to sell on ebay but yet still recive funds fast, go some place else that ebay accepts, but leave your billing stuff hook up to paypal at ebay. make sure all your billing stuff is hooked to paypal though but make sure your bank stuff isn't though. This way ebay and paypal are kinda at a criss cross with them selfs and yet you would be getting paid through another source. You see.. paypal and ebay wants to **bleep** us over with the hold funds policy well we can still use ebay and yet **bleep** them back.  We would be playing by there rules all along also and there policys you can say.  See: http://www.facebook.com/people/Tom-Pergo/1719022516 ... @Dontlikeitman wrote: Also, if you relly want to get the word out there about the issue, tell everyone you know about it, if your in town and are talking to friends or friends and there friends, tell them. The more you tell people, the more the word will spread around and out wards and people will hear and check into it also and probably tell there friends like you did. You see all paypal is hurting really is just them selfs right now with there dow nright stupid hold policy that is which a down right joke.    I also heard that the federal law is looking at paypal right now due to the hold funds policy that they are doing to people because it's a world wide issue they are doing which makes it a federal case, not to mention short of a internet fruad case also. Plus I also heard from a very relieable source that CNN was talking about the hold issue as well on tv. Plus I also read recent that there is afew lawsuits taken place now instead of just one.     Paypal is kinda starting to fall, they wanted press, I guess they are getting press but not the kind I think they wanted though.    I know when I first sign up for paypal back in the day, We didn't have the stupid hold policy at all and things was working smooth and people was all happy, people would win an item on ebay and send money and the seller got there money and ship the items out and the buyer got the items and everyone 95% of the time was always happy. Then paypal came along with the new heads of the company and they change things and the policys around  and now look at it, people are not happy with money is getting hold up for no reason at all, complaints are being filed, people are droping ebay because of paypal because of the policys that was changed. I know if I was signing up and seen the new parts they change I would drop paypal for ebay selling like a fly. What paypal need to wake up to is that they should take the hold fund policy down and go back to how they was in the old days where most of the people likeed paypal and using paypal for ebay stuff and sellers was also happy unless like what it is now and what it has become in the last the last 6 months. To the people at paypal, I really don't like to say this about you all, but you all have in the last 6 months have gotten worst instead of better, look at what all you have done so far to alot of good people.  A guy just started a facebook page on facebook!!! Let's really get the word out there!!!!!!  His name is Tom Pergo. ... View more

They all sound like a broke record. The "desk soldiers" are the first , second, and third tier obstacles. If you get to a real supervisor you get a genuine apology.   Wow, I thought, I bet Sears or my Electric Co-Op would certainly take an apology instead of a payment.   Keep diligent, stay mad. If you can afford to deal without them, do it. Trust me, their rising costs and holds make it a lot easier to use alternatives than ever before. Tell a friend.   Again, If you do keep using Ebay ( they own No Pay Pal now) Add a comment about alternatives you would be willing to use, in the product description. They can't tag or censure you there. (yet) There is a guy on facebook by the name of Tom Pergo who just quoted you... @mweimer wrote: Right after making my above post, I got an e-mail from eBay with my monthly invoice, which is a fourth of my current PayPal balance!  I just threw my hands up in the air and thought, "Now where in the heck is THAT money supposed to come from?"  If PayPal won't release the funds so I can pay my eBay bill, then will eBay cut off my ability to list items and make the money that PayPal keeps siphoning off for itself?  Kind of ironic, since eBay owns Paypal in the first place.  Oh, mercy, I give up, I just give up.  I think my odds of making any money would be better if I played the lottery.  As soon as I can find a job or another source of income, I can stop having to sell things to make money, and stop giving PayPal my business.   (P.S.  Yes, I've read the suggestions here that I accept alternate payment methods for my eBay sales.  But I am not a business set up to accept credit cards indepently.  And while I'll happily accept money orders and even personal checks, I don't list that in my auctions since it expressly violates eBay policy.  I have had an auction shut down in the past when I accidentally violated a listing policy, and I don't expect that this would be any different.  If a buyer contacts me and asks, I'll say yes, but I don't feel comfortable requesting it of the buyer.) Hey, I see that a guy by the name of Tom Pergo just started a PayPal complaint page on facebook.  I think it is a good idea to get the word out past Ebay users! ... View more

Make sure as soon as the auction ends to email your buyer and make sure they understand. Tell them that because of PayPal's new 21 day hold policy that you can only accept a MO. It has been working for me. Two wrongs don't make it right. I'm not taking up for paypal or ebay. But, and I mean BUT, this is only temporary and until ebay discovers your listings...then what? You'll be suspended and then you won't be able to sell at all on ebay. I'm glad you've gotten away with this long.....you're obviously lucky or possibly have some ebay guardian angel connections but be WARNED it will not last. I totally agree... Eventually e-bay will get wise and throw you out of their program... You would be better off taking a different form of payment other than PayPal ... View more
