I am trying to understand PayPal policy on rolling reserve for every transaction it is done.
I had personal account then opened business account, I didn't have rolling reserve , as soon I opened Virtual terminal now every transaction no matter what is put into rolling reserve for 90 days..which I have think it is excessive 30 days should be max, but next what I can't understand why every transaction is put into rolling reserve
as I read the policy the rolling reserve is only for CC transaction to protect from chargeback (which I have my beef on this), I am trying to contact PayPal and all I get is standard email answers that I have dozen of copies, I can't reply to them and I have to go through site customer help and every time new person responed and I getting tired of the running around for answers.
so if I get transffered money 30% is frozen for 30 days, if I get paid by PayPal 30% gets frozen, which didn't happen before until I got virtual terminal,
please someone from PAYPAL answer ?

Yes, I have noticed the same issue and I think it's just wrong that they have kept my money (which to this date is $300) for them to collect interest? I'm assuming, I am looking at an IPhone seeing how they have a free ap for taking credit cards, you have to get a little slider attachment and only take 2% of a sale is card is run through, 3% if card number is manually put through. I WILL be cancelling my Virtual Terminal as soon as I get one and they will be getting a letter from me, seeing how they DO NOT reply to anyone's issues.

it is wrong, US customers can register for I can't recall a trust fund that PayPal will pay you a procentage on the hold that kept for 90 days, you have to be a US citizen, which I think it is wrong too, so if you are not US citizen with US address you can't apply so anyone outside is **bleep**ed , but creating VTT account will be a wise decision, and I am suprised noone from PayPal wants to answer this,

To PayPal developers you can solve this problem very easy, and simple solution.
Create account called Virtual Terminal Transaction or VTT so any credit trasactions are going through virtual terminal only,so only that account will have the rolling reseve, not the accounts that are paid by PayPal, it is simple solution and this will fix the issues we have the rolling reserve
