Hi,
I have a couple Asus netbooks that I bought wholesale and I am planning on listing them on eBay. Is it possible to get your funds Direct Deposited to your attatched bank account? Do you need any kind of license to resell laptops on ebay using paypal?

No you can't have it set up so that PayPal will direct deposit your funds to your associated bank account(s). Infact, if you're a new ebay seller and/or PayPal member, you'll have to deal with restrictions (such as the 21-day hold period) that ebay/PayPal has set up to try and prevent scammers from running their game on these sites. Only after these holds and restrictions have cleared on your PayPal account, then the funds will become available to you, and you will manually have to withdraw them to your bank account(s) from PayPal.
As for needing a special license to sell laptops through ebay/PayPal, once again the answer is no. But as stated on the last paragraph, if you're just starting to do this, they're likely to place restrictions on you, and you may even be asked to contact them and explain the nature of your business, and perhaps even provide scanned copies of sales receipts of the items that you are re-selling.
