Shipping Label Refuses to Print????

Hi, I have tried Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, can print test pages and other documents, but no matter how many times I try to print the shipping label (which I can see, and choose 'print label'), it won't print. I even talked with PayPal tonight, and the guy told me it has to be my printer. I can print ANYTHING except the shipping label. This has never happened to me before - what could it be?

Had to void two labels to Italy at $29.00 each! Would not print. Tried for hours to get these to print. Downloaded this, took it out and downlaoded again and tried to do new label again. Tried using different servers...now using another computer (moms) and am not even going to try again! Now they have $60.00 of my money PLUS they are holding almost $500 from sales on ebay!!! Most of the items have already been received and no complaints, however during holidays, most are gone and got their product but can't or won't leave feedback! So much for getting Christmas money to buy presents! Instead, ebay and paypal took my money, customers got their items, some just don't leave feedback so Im also out shipping from my own money to ship this stuff! I do not like ebay or paypal. I am fed up. This is an outrage and they are making interest holding our money. Not right. I am no longer going to ship international. They want you to do this, but Im done!

And the customer service people? It all depends on who you get, what kind of mood they are in, their personality type (or disorder), etc....

I've been through everything you've been through with shipping through paypal. I had to print labels one at a time through ebay instead for 3 months, but I HAVE FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!!! I'm so happy to say that I CAN NOW PRINT PAYPAL LABELS AGAIN. According to paypal technical support management, they have been having a huge issue with browser compatibility for months now, with thousands of affected customers. She said the reason everybody there says something different when you call for help is b/c nobody there knows what went wrong. She said that they have all of their people working on it and have brought it tons of extra people, but they just cant get it fixed.  she said a few, but not many, people have been able to fix it just by deleting their browsing history, cookies, cache, etc and a few other people have been able to print just by switching to firefox. None of that worked for me. After trying billions of different things, I finally downloaded a different browser called Opera. I called paypal first and they said that yes opera can be used with paypal securely. So I downloaded it (which only takes a couple of minutes), and after it was installed, I was printing labels from paypal in less than 5 minutes. No problems since then. Opera is very easy to use- its just a simple, basic, good browser.

do you know a link you could post with step by step instructions on how to get this (disable the smart web print thingey) done on an HP printer? (which by now, we have a new one since the last labels wouldn't print).

Where/how do I turn off Smart Web Printing?  I'm having the same exact problem as the original poster.

I have tried to print labels and postage several times and on two different prints and the result is always the same...NOTHING. Pay Pal takes my money but then tells me the postoffice needs to refund....yea right...good luck with that happening in a timely basis. Pay Pal should take the burden...they are the ones that offer it up and take our money. There is a problem and someone needs to fix or drop it from the options.

This is for everyone who simply wants to get their money back for shipping labels they can't/don't want to use. Just go to the transaction details page, and click on the link there to void the label. This must be done within 48 hours of printing/attempting to print the label. After the 48 hours, the link to void the label automatically disappears. Anyway, it takes a few days, but USPS should give the unused postage money back to PayPal, who will then return it into your PayPal balance (or possibly back to the funding source that you used to pay for the label originally).

I have voided many a label through PayPal before.  You do have to wait to get reimbursed because PayPal needs to know if the barcode was scanned or not.  I just wasted $10.00 three times to try to print a label today that was Non eBay goods to Canada and I am having problems, too.  Fortunately, it is a priority small box so I hopped on over to the USPS website.  Just make sure you VOID each label to ensure you get your money back.  Every time I have voided a label, about 7-10 days later it shows as a refund by PayPal for a shipping label not used.  And I do agree, it is frustrating that their option to print a label is not working, to say the least!  At least open a USPS account as a back up to print labels from, as long as it is priority mail it will print.

Hello ~  Same thing is happening with me tonight.  I was able to print domestic USPS labels with  no problem.  I am not able to print International Labels tonight!!!!!   Happens too often.  I have checked to make sure I have the current Java also.  THIS HAPPENS TOO OFTEN AND IS A REAL PAIN!  THEY, usps OR paypal, NEEDS OFFER A SOLUTOIN FOR THIS ONGOING PROBLEM!!!
