Seller should be responsible for return shipping label or cost when wrong item sent.

Ebay Buyer's should not have to pay for return shipping when a seller send's the wrong item.  This is not Buyer's Protection.

What to do?  Hopefully buyer's use credit card as primary source of funding.  If you did make sure you open a dispute with Ebay/Paypal and also IMMEDIATELY contact your credit card company and file dispute. They will provide provisional credit and charge back PAYPAL account until Paypal/Seller respond.

EBAY/PAYPAL need to change there policy and make seller's responsible for their mistakes.  I regret purchasing on Ebay and will probably never purchase on here again.  It is a nightmare and seller's have all the rights.

Amazon most of the time has the same item's sometimes cheaper and sometimes a litte more.  Amazon is all about the customer and not the seller.  Ebay lost a lot of their business to Amazon and now we know why.  Their customer service is much better.

Stop purchasing through Ebay and eventually our collective decision will finally put them out of business.  If they don't want to run their business in favor of the buyer's that make it all happen in the end then they don't deserve OUR business.  Without customer's there is no Customer Service to provide.

Also, don't forget to file complaint with the Internet Crimes Complaint Center run by the FBI

Good luck to all that are having problems.

Yikes!

Your real problem is with the seller...not e-bay or PayPal

If the seller shipped the wrong item, they should ship the proper item with a return service label in the box for the incorrect item.

It is what our business does.

It is just good customer service and a way to build a loyal customer base.

Certainly post feedback so that other buyers will know that the seller does not stand by its products or service.

Yes, my initial problem is with the seller. He does not care and tell's me to go ahead and submit negative feedback.  It won't effect him.................................My second problem is with Ebay/Paypal resolution.  They don't care and the feedback does not stop the seller from selling.  Most consumer's don't even look at feedback as long as they are close to 100%.

So overall my issue is with customer satisfaction through Buyer's Protection.

Thanks for the reply.

I am a seller, and thought that in the past 2 years Ebay is all about the buyer,  some months I get 50% or more non-paying buyers, than even when they pay half of them file claims and Ebay / Papal always sides with the buyers. As a matter of fact I just had a chargeback a few minutes ago wich led me to this board looking for help.

In this chargeback a buyer purchased something I shipped and tracked to his location, than a month later he files a chargeback, I lose the money he paid, plus paypal charged me an additional $20 chargeback fee.

I guess Ebay / Paypal are just not good for buyers or sellers anymore, I will be looking to Amazon to sell

Let me ask you, do you get to respond to the dispute from the charge back?  If not, then Paypal is responding for you and not providing information on your behalf.  If you have proof of delivery that is all a seller need's to win a chargeback.

I agree there are buyers and seller's that have issues with honesty. I believe strongly in honesty and integrity and so far most seller's have been decent but half of them overcharge for shipping.

I'm sorry you have had the rough end of the dishonest buyer's.

There is a timeframe for the seller to respond and I can only imagine that with the dispute/chargeback going into Paypal that they are probably over whelmed and can't respond in timely manner, thus the seller loses and the buyer's win.
