International Customers utilizing eBay check to make a PayPal payment : Unconfirmed Address problems

Fellow PayPal Community Members,

We have a most recent issue that has cropped up.  Our international customers utilizing eBay checkout are trying to make a PayPal payment to us but are getting the following error message:

"Sorry!  We were unable to process your payment with the Shipping Address you selected.  Please return to PAYPAL to select a PAYPAL CONFIRMED address or complete checkout by selecting an alternate payment method."

This only recently has become an issue.  Various repeat international customers are indicating that they previously had no issues utilizing eBay checkout to make a PayPal payment to us and that the shipping address utilized in a previous transaction posed no issues.

Any ideas?

Hi redrhinosports,

Please check your "Payments Receiving Preferences" to ensure that you are not block payments from international customers.

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click My Account at the top of the page.
3. Click Profile at the top of the page.
4. Click Payment Receiving Preferences in the Selling Preferences column.
5. Edit your preferences and click Save.
