I received a payment for an eBay item this morning. Literally FIVE minutes after this payment was made there was a dispute filed claiming this payment was "unauthorized".....FIVE minutes. To me it sounds like the customer changed her mind and decided she didn't want the item....totally against eBay policy. Now my funds are on hold until they investigate the claim. Obviously I have not shipped this item but WTH????? This just sounds fishy to me...and unfair....you can't just "change" your mind!

Is it possible that the buyer used a stolen card and the bank flagged it? or... if what you describe is what really happened, can you send a copy of the ebay sale/transaction to eBay or PayPal (whoever is investigating) ..to "prove" that the seller made the purchase?
just two thoughts that i had.. you may have already done the above or filed your response to the claim.
