This card is linked to another PayPal account.

I linked my credit card with my old Paypal account, but I closed the old account without deleting the card from the account.

Now I registered a new account, and I can't link this card with it. The app shows:

This card is linked to another PayPal account. Please remove the card from the other account or try a different payment method.

The old paypal account is deleted, I can no more login. How can I proceed to link my card with the new account?

im also facing this problem.

BACKSTORY: i set up a paypal account, followed all the steps, and when i tried to get it confirmed, i didnt get a confirmation email. confused, i then realized that there was a single typo in the email address i used, and i wasnt receiving the email for this reason.

i subsequently closed it, and set up this account with the correct email. unfortunately i forgot to unlink my debit card from that account before i closed it, and so every time i tried to link my debit card, i got this message:

is there any way i can get my debit card unlinked from that deleted account so i can get it working again? please help me, i really need it

Hello! I can't seem to be able to link my debit card to my paypal account for some reason. It states that "This card is linked to another PayPal account. Please remove the card from the other account or try a different payment method." , when I only own 1 paypal account and have never been the owner of any other account. I even removed the bank I had linked at first to see if it would change anything, but it didn't. I'm new to using paypal so if anyone could help me and knows how to fix this issue I would really appreciate it, thank you!
