I found that Automatic payment transfer from bank was not taking place now. I got a negative balance on my account as well. As bank transfers are not working, it is now make use of credit card.
1) I want to transfer money to paypal to clear negative balance on pay pal account. "Add money to resolve your negative balance." option doesn't work either. Error message is "We’re sorry, things don’t appear to be working right now. Try again later."
How can i clear the negative balance?
2) I want to fix the Automatic payment link to the bank as well.

Ways to clear a negative balance.
1. Transfer funds from your bank account via the add funds function. This option may not be available if the negative balance was caused by a failed bank transfer.
2. The quickest and easiest way is to get a mate or family member to send a payment via the friends / family option. As long as they don't fund it with a card it should be free.
3. Via a card over the phone with paypal.
4. Buy something and Paypal will normally add the debt to that payment during checkout when you authorise the purchase. Check first that its been added on before pressing to complete checkout.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

@kernowlass Thank you for the detailed responses.
1) I have 'Add Money' options, but when this was tried , it immediately shows "We’re sorry, things don’t appear to be working right now. Try again later."
2) I need to setup a paypal account for my son to try this.
3) I never tried payment using telephone, how this can be done? Using customer support?
