Hello, I'm at a complete loss on what to do. So when I was 18, I had a paypal setup by guardians who put in some wrong info. Anyways, I didnt want that account anymore for reasons so I closed it. I have a new account and recently got PayPal Credit line, but I can't link my bank to make payments! I read somewhere that you can only link your bank 3 times, but this new account is only the second time and I can't do it! I'm freaking out right now I can't just go out and open a new bank account right now. Is there anything I can do??

Did you remove the bank account from the old account before closing it?

I didn't since I didn't even know this was a thing, or that paypal had limited bank usage. I didn't even know you could unlink a bank.

You can't have a bank linked on more than one account at the same time so you would need to have removed it first.

Also you can only add a bank to a paypal account x3 times in that banks lifetime.

As you didn't remove it then your best bet is to contact customer services and see if they can remove it for you.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
