PayPal supports people absconding with funds

Hi y'all,

I just posted this to my facebook page:

On Nov-16-16 17:10:13 PST, I purchased an item through eBay. I paid $18.69. The seller took the money and did not ever send the product to me. I asked PayPal to get the stolen money back, and PayPal refused to do that. They let the seller steal the payment, in return for nothing.

Here is what PayPal said "A PayPal claims specialist has reviewed the case and determined that the claim does not meet the criteria for unauthorized use, so the case is now closed”

So, let me think this through, when a seller takes a person’s money in pretense of conveying a product to a buyer, then does not send the product to a buyer, this constitutes “Authorized use” of my PayPal funds?  WOW!!!

PayPal  has ignored all subsequent efforts to obtain a refund of the stolen funds.

In short, PayPal sees theft as authorized use.

When using your PayPal funds to purchase products - Caveat Emptor - buyer beware... PayPal authorizes theft!

If anyone out there has connections at Pay Pal with morals enough to discourage theft, plese send them my way 🙂
