I have a use case where the original purchase had PayPal tender and a gift card tender.
A return for the order is initiated and current order for submitting tenders is PayPal first, followed by gift card.
In the event that PayPal is successful and the gift card is not, the Business wants us to reverse the full transaction. It is necessary to void or reverse the successful refund on PayPal.
Seems PayPal cannot do that or at least the APIs do not lend themselves to this.
Any ideas on how to handle this?
