Refund and dispute

I am having an issue with a refund. The seller has said he has processed the refund but I have not received it. I mentioned that to the seller that it might be because they used a wrong email address. The dispute I filed ruled in favor of the seller but I am yet to receive the money. What do I do?

They don't need your email address to process a refund, they just click on the transaction in their paypal account and hit refund.

You would then get an email from paypal to say that a refund had been issued. Once it showed as completed in your paypal account it would be on its way back to your funding source linked to your paypal account that you used to fund the original payment.

Bit confused as you said the dispute was rules in favour of the seller???

Thank you for your response. None of what you mentioned happened. When I logged in a dispute with PayPal, they came back closing the case with me not getting my refund. I am still chasing it, the seller has said they have issued the refund though.

If you lost the dispute then there is no incentive for the seller to refund you.

If they had refunded you then you would have received a paypal email stating you had been issued a refund + the activity would show in your paypal account overview page.

I received an email from PayPal that my refund is on the way. But until today. I did not receive it. It has been almost four months now. What do I do?
