My refund was sent to a PayPal debit card that has been closed. Where is the refund now?

My PayPal debit card is closed and my refund was sent to that card. Where does the money when that happens? How do I retrieve that information in order to get my refund?

Do you mean a Paypal debit card OR a debit card linked to your Paypal account?

We send all refunds back to your original payment method. The time it takes to receive your money varies by payment method. In some cases, refunds go to your balance account in case we are unable to credit your original payment method or when you choose balance as the destination.
