Refound pending

Hello,

I was scamed by the seller and send me Food Cans instead of a audio gear that i have ordered!

Anyway i open a case for full refund immediatelly and in an hour the seller accept it.

I have paid with my paypal balance that means that i must had the money back at the same day but have pass 5 days now and the refound still pending!!!

I must woried?

Pending refunds can only happen for two reasons.

1. The seller has issued a refund from their bank account which takes time to process.

2. You funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item). Then if you receive a refund in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.

Thanks for the reply,

I have payed with paypal balance so thats why i was wondering why take so long.

So as you said the delay is from his bank to tranfer the money to my paypal account.What if has no money at all at his bank account?

If his pending echeque fails then you would need to escalate the dispute to a claim.

How i will make a claim?

and how long take before the pending echeque to fail?

Echeque clearance is dependent on your sellers bank processing time + country they are in, normally I would allow 5-7 business days.

If the case is still open then escalate to a claim, if it auto closed after the refund was made but the refund then failed then you would need to contact customer services to tell them this so that they can re-open the dispute for you.
