PayPal thinks I will willingly get scammed

I would have preferred the message centre in my account but no surprise that is all operated by a bot nowadays that does nothing helpful.

So a customer purchased from my website and opened a case claiming he didnt get it. I proved he did get it, showed e-mails and chats between us, PayPal won the case in my favour. Today I login and see that it's been reversed and I owe $64 INCLUDING a $15 dispute fee.

I would rather end my business with paypal than willingly be scammed. best thing is, they do not allow me to contact them or dispute this in any form.

Message to PayPal: Sorry, but you're not getting that money.

I agree that the Dispute center is nearly a waste of time after recently being scammed myself by a hacker operating on a hobby forum. You must be very frustrated to see your dispute reversed! I’m looking for a viable alternative to these guys. Good luck

You may have won a Paypal dispute but then the buyer must have decided after losing that Paypal dispute to file a chargeback via their card issuer (as they would have funded their Paypal payment that way).

The chargeback process is external to the PayPal system. The buyer's credit card issuer grants its members specific consumer protection which PayPal has no authority to replace or reduce. If a PayPal user initiates a chargeback with their credit card company Paypal have no way of stopping the claim.

When a PayPal payment is charged back, Paypal is charged a fee by the credit card issuer. They pass this non-refundable fee on to you UNLESS they review the transaction to see if it is eligible for Seller Protection. Based on the fact you were charged the fee you would not have been eligible for seller protection for some reason.  https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/article/what-is-the-paypal-seller-protection-policy-and-what-items-...

If you don't pay then Paypal will pass the debt on to a collection agency to recover those funds unfortunately.
