I had the same thing happen and they told me it was the computer taking it's own "safety measures" and defaulting to my bank card. Then I sat on hold for almost an hour and cannot get through via the Dispute action as it keeps pushing me out saying Something Has Gone Wrong, try again. I've tried 4 times! Super irritating. Did you get any answers on this one?
Still no resolution. The person I spoke to from PayPal not helpful. She said I need to call my credit card company. They were not helpful! I will not give up!!!
