No record of transaction

I recently placed an order on a shopping website and paid with my debit card via Paypal. My money in bank account got deducted but there is no record in Paypal about that payment and it seemed like the payment was error and the order failed to proceed either.

Did you log into your paypal account to pay OR did you pay as a guest buyer via paypal entering your card details?

The website directed me to paypal site and I logged into my paypal account
