I sent a request for a friend to send payment and now its on hold as if a sold somehting

I requested money from a friend and PayPal thinks I sold something.  How do I change this?

Goods/Services Payments.

1. Invoice or Money Request.
2. Send money > Goods/Services.
3. Paypal.me link (if its a personal account then there should be the option to tick a box to make it a goods/services payment before you submit payment).

Friends/Family Payments.

1. Send money > friends / family (or trusted person).
2. Paypal.me link from a personal account where you don't select the option to make it a goods/services payment.

You used option 1 in the goods/services section so yes paypal would see you as a seller.

Neither of those options are available, but thank you for taking the time

I ended up refunding and creating a paypal.me thing and I sent that and ask her to make sure its friends and family.
