How to cancel a purchase in payment review status

Hello there,

Does anyone know how can I cancel a purchase that is in payment review status? I can't wait any longer for the items I bought so I would like to uy them again using a different payment method.

Do you mean pending?

Are they pending on your paypal account / sellers / or both.

What exactly does it say next to the transaction in your paypal account.

Hi, Something really weird happened . I was buying some lamps in a web in Spain. Did the transaction from the Netherlands and I need to send the lamps to am address in Spain in the name of a friend . Right after I received a notification that the payment is being reviewed. Two days later I received another notification from PayPal asking me date of birth of the person who will receive the parcel. Apparently PayPal is taking for granted that I’m sending money to this person in Spain and not making an online purchase. Now I’m stuck dealing with this ridiculous issue. In the meantime I cannot re-purchase the lamps which I need ASAP because I have no clue what the outcome of this issue will be. Just ridiculous
