Fitbit recall refund

Hi all. There was a recall of the fitbit Ionic and I was notified that there is a 299USD refund that has been sent to me. I never had a PayPal account , but gave them my email address. I was told to create a PayPal account using that email and then the funds would be available. I have done so, however my PayPal account is showing a nil balance . Is there anything I still need to do for the funds to reflect ? Thanks so much

Having the same issue. Wonder if this is a scam email.

Got a reply for paypal right after i "claimed" the money that my withdrawal amount was changed.

Lukily i have noe money on my paypal.

Everything in the email seems legit.

Fitbit Recall Refund Not visible I have received email from Paypal that login to accept payment of 309 $ by Fitbit Recall. But it is not showing in my PayPal account. I have tried contacting PayPal but they have not replied me back.

Have you updated KYC on your PayPal account? I too received email on March 31, 2022 but was asked i need to update account. Have updated KYC but now PayPal has asked to contact Fitbit to resend the amount. I did reach out to Fitbit and they are looking into this and will get back.

When I try to call on the Indian number, it says that the dialled number is invalid 😔

It's not local India number but UK numbers.
