Closed credit card account before being sent a refund

I received a refund to a credit card account that l had closed a few weeks ago. How can l get my refund please

If the card ACCOUNT that both cards belong or belonged to is still open then it should go through fine.
However if its a completely new card / account then it may decline so ask your old card issuer if they can help you recover your refund.

Yes thank you, it wouldnt go through to a secondary paypal account do l contacted the card issuer by livechat and they transferred the amount to another. Great help cheers
