Paypal Shipping in unavailable?

For the past week or so, I've seen the following message when I try to create a mailing label through Paypal:

"Paypal shipping is unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience."

I've tried Firefox, IE or Chrome. Doesn't seem to matter. I cleared my cookies, tried different computers...nothing. Any idea why I'm getting this message?

Sometimes I've found it can be the ship to address. This often happens especially with international addresses that don't follow the same format U.S. addresses do. If it is, however, a domestic address copy paste it into google maps to try and verify it. Certain parts can be abbreviated such as Saint (St.) and that can sometimes cause a problem with generating the label. Or if there is an Apartment # in address line 1 if it's moved to address line 2 that might make a difference as well.

Then again there are some addresses, we've had this happen with certain addresses in Purto Rico, that you simply will not be able to generate a label for, you'll have to just go to a local post office and pay for it there.

Paypal shipping has been down for 5 days. I talked to them by phone and they said they are still working on it. It may be a while before its fixed.

I'm getting the same msg. The delivery address is "confirmed" tho.

I'm new at this, my first sale sort of, first time I'm trying this paypal shipping too. Anybody know if the whole system's still down (This is MOnday Jun 6) or if it's something I can change? Thanks.

This is the same thing that has been happening to me. PayPal has admitted that they are having a problem with certain accounts after their system update a couple of weeks ago, but they have not fixed the problem. Very frustrating! I have spoken to them several times regarding this, and I don't think they are putting enough effort into resolving this issue for all of those who are affected. For the first time, I am very disappointed with PayPal.

Same here.  What a waste.  This function has not worked since the 27th or 28th.  I have to go to the traditional post office for shipping and that is a time waster.  Why Paypal, why?

My shipping has been down since the 26th with no end in sight.

Very frustrating.
