Having used my accounts for over 2 years, - and never had any funding problems, suddenly when paying for an item on ebay through Paypal - 4/2/11 the Paypal system decides to send an e-cheque with a resultant delay in payment to the seller of 7 days, and an obvious delay to me as the buyer (having paid for Next day delivery).
I telephoned customer services who could see no reasons why an e-cheque had been issued, but followed that up with the comment that they could not help or amend the transaction.
The result overall is a 7 day delay to the transaction (having paid for next day delivery) with a very disgruntled seller and buyer, and no method of rectification of the problem through customer services - except a large phone bill!!.
I would be interested if other people have had similar problems??.
