"invoice to" disappears without trace once paid.

This is something I have complained to paypal customer service about multiple times, ever since the new site was introduced and they have done nothing.

I often send invoices/money requests to customers and include a note stating what the invoice is for. Until paid, it shows in the account summary as pending and the details are still accessible. However once it has been paid the invoice disappears completely and a 'payment received' appears showing the amount and the customer's details, but NOT the note or any link to the original invoice. I now have no reference as to what the payment was for, and if I send multiple invoices it can be EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING tracking down what each payment was for.  The only way I can work around this is to go back to classic site where the invoice still shows in the history.

I can't beleive I am the only one suffering from this problem, or why paypal will not fix it. It's like they are being awkward on purpose to stop us using paypal in this way?

Hi Andy4,

Welcome to the forums and thanks for your post!

There actually is a fuctionality, for Business accounts, where you can filter your transactions by invoices send. Once you're logged into your PayPal account you'll see your overview. On the right hand side, underneath the log out button there's a option to click on "More". Once you hit the next page you can filter activity where it says "All Transactions", there's an option for invoices here as well! 🙂

Let us know if you run into any issues.
