After selling an item on eBay the buyer contacted me about getting information for sending the payment. I gave them the wrong email address, but added that email to the account shortly after. I have an email saying that the payment as been received but nothing is showing up on my paypal account. I contacted them and they are saying the amount has been deducted from their paypal account. Will I still get the funds or what?
Why would they not complete Ebay checkout? This may be a scam as scammers try and evade Ebay checkout as they do not have a Paypal account and any messages to say they are paid are fake.
Is it an international transaction?
