Confused about fees

Hi, I've had a paypal account for a long time and generally have used it to pay for things online and occasionally I have paid a friend for something. Now I have started a small business selling stuff and I added a Paypal.me address so that I could send links for people to pay me online if they weren't comfortable handing over their card details. From initial and subsequent reading, i understood that I wouldn't be charged any fees unless the person was paying by credit card, but it seems that I am actually charged every time, regardless of whether I'm being paid from a paypal account or debit card. my Business is VERY small and I really can't afford to have paypal taking such a big cut. i need to know whether I can change this or whether I should just ditch Paypal.me for being too greedy.

Not sure where you heard that from.
As a business you are charged a fee per transaction of 3.4% + 20p however the person funds that paypal payment.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
