I need to capture more than 2 option fields in PayPal history. I've read through all the message boards (no current postings) and cannot find a way to accomplish this. Is there any kind of work around that has been useful to anyone? Since the button creation allowed for more than 2 options I was unaware that that information wasn't passed through for download.
Depends on the type of button, Buy Now, Add to Cart, Subscription or Donation. For example,
Option Variables "on2", "os2", "on3", "os3", etc., will not work with the command value "_donations" as these values will NOT appear in the email notifications or your Account Transaction History.
I'm using add to cart buttons. The options do appear in the cart, just not in history download. I'm really hoping for a viable workaround for this particular page. It's a camp registration and will only go on for a short while. Next time, I'll find a better way of handling things. Right now I need to capture information for about 1000 campers.
