I have set up a buy it now button on a site which has a drop down menu with different amounts. When the code is initially set up it works fine and carries the amount through to paypal. However, when I try it now and attempt to make a purchase it doesn't carry the amount through i.e. it shows zero when you get to paypal.
Does anyone have any ideas why this would happen? Do I need to have a merchant account?
Yes, you do need either a Premier or Business Account, a Personal Account is not intended for selling, more for shopping online and/or sending money to friends or family.
As for what's going on with your item button code, we need to actually see it. If you would provide a link that would be most helpful.
