100% SCAM.
I can tell from the first 3 words, Paypal does not address you as Hello Valued Member, they always use your full name ie Dear John Smith.
Secondly........
This is NOT how paypal works, the scammer will ''pretend'' to send you extra funds but you then get a FAKE paypal email telling you that you have to 'refund' the money before you get the funds credited to your account. They will tell you to send gift vouchers or bitcoin or another payment processor that has nothing to do with paypal and you will NEVER get the funds in your paypal account.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Always best to send us a gist of the content of the email, easier to spot the scam however paypal do not use gmail addresses.
If they are telling you to pay an upfront fee or a couriers fee or send the item with tracking BEFORE you get paid OR its on hold and won't show until you have done something then its a scam.
