How is it that Paypal KNOWS THIS COMPANY Brainety IQ Test + Brain Training Games

IS COMMITTING SCAMS but yet paypal continues to do business with them???

If they were a legitimate company it would not have all of the complaints .

The intimal charge receipt has zero mention of recurring charges or services

the second charge now includes  IQ Test + Brain Training Games

I never agreed to this

Since venmo now has a goods and service policy i am cancelling my paypal if i do not get my money back

A lot of times what happens is people accept a free trial for a product and forget to cancel.

As a buyer you must agree to a billing agreement/subscription before a merchant can take a payment from your PayPal account.

If you don't notice during checkout OR don't cancel then it auto renews. Be careful what you are accepting.

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

no that didnt happen. I got billed for 1 service then they took that info and automatically signed me me goddam paypal knows what is going on but since they are getting their fees they dont give a **bleep**

I did not sign up for any service.

I just wanted to take the IQ test for fun and now this has really ruined my faith in paypal and your company

The dame thing happened to me but there was insufficient funds. Sot he transaction declined. How many times did they try to take the money out. Did they try again after the 38 was taken

They did this to me too only, after I agreed and paid 99 cents, they took $39.99 then $28.99 then $9.97 before I could remove PayPal as a payment method. I have disputed the charges except for 99 cents, but I have a feeling PP is going to side with (in my case the scammer quiz company is called Cerebrem) and refuse to refund me. This is all the money I had/have, obviously no one would agree to pay a bunch of $ for something they just paid 99c for (oh, I have ordered my test results with a 99c free trial, but I want to pay another $80 just because I like giving away all my money!), but if Cerebrum tells PP I chose to pay that amount - which they cannot prove, I bet PP sides with the scammer. And I also will close my PP account.
