I recently created a PayPal account in order to make a transaction. I linked my card and confirmed it using my mobile banking app and successfully completed the transaction. Since then I have tried to send money to someone and weirdly enough it asked me to add a card even though I already have my bank account linked. So I added my card again there and almost successfully sent the money until I went to confirm the sending of it using my mobile banking; it declined before I had the chance to confirm it in the app. So I tried a few more times without success and eventually it just wouldn't add the card and came up with an error. So I checked my email and I got an email about limitations to my account made because of suspicious activity adding a card, and that by logging in and giving them some information I could lift these limitations. So I logged in and confirmed my identity using my passport as it asked, and it showed up as being completed. Then it asked to confirm my card using my mobile banking app again and I did that but it didn't show as completed, and was now giving me two options both asking for the same thing in different wording - a card statement. However, I only opened my bank account a month or so ago, and therefore I don't have any card statements yet. So I'm a bit stuck. I'd rather not wait for a card statement as it seems like it will take much more time than I have to send this money to someone. I'm sorry, this is probably a long and confusing piece of text (as this was for me). Hopefully it's clear enough. Any help anyone can give will be appreciated. If not, I guess I will have to try to use something other than PayPal to send the money.
