STOP USING PAYPAL

I’ve been with people for years, not really having any issues whatsoever. I literally did a transaction a month or 2 ago. Last Friday I received money and accepted it to my PayPal account, I removed old card information and added a new card and account & they immediately limited my account. So I was confused but complies sent in photo ID & a debit card verifying the card on my account was in fact mine. Thinking nothing of it I thought by today I’d be able to use my money, well I received an email and it says “my account is permanently restricted” & I can’t use any funds on the account for 180 days. No reason as to why, I just can’t use MY OWN DAMN MONEY. I called customer service and the people that answer the phone couldn’t care less about my issue, they just said I gotta wait 180 days… FOR WHAT ? To possibly not even be able to use it after that. The worst part is when I went to the forum to see if anyone else was having this issue like 2 other people just said it happened this morning & Reddit has even more so if you have money coming and going through paypal you might want to find somewhere else to put it. At this rate paypal will be losing A LOT of its business

I will not be just letting this go either, it is just a couple hundred bucks not nearly as much as other people but at this point in my life any money is helpful to me. There are people that literally can’t pay bills because they are choosing to abuse their power and not inform anyone as to why because they have the ability to do so. I will be issuing complaints and that ain’t even my thing to do to people but this is wrong.

As it may have been to do with i.d. then were you 18 when you opened your paypal account?
