How do I get my PayPal Business Account Reactivated? (Banned, 'Perminatley Limited').

I'd like to start by saying that I am a longtime user, proponent, and sharehold of PayPal.

I recently opend up a PayPal for a new busisness I have just started (ecomm, resale of vintage items). I opend up the account, made my first few incovoices and all was good. However, when I linked my account to a third party resale platform entitled Grailed (a secure site I have had my personal account linked to with no issues for many years), my business account was immediately 'Perminatley Limited'. I was not given an explination or any notice, my account was simply just terminated and it was noted that I will 'not be able to conduct any further business using PayPal.'

My question is, how the hell do I get my account reactivated? I seem to have no way to appeal this, and I have called the hotline a dozen times only to be left on hold for long enough to be disconnected. Has anyone gotten an account back under similar circumstances? Is there another way to contact someone and/or appeal the ban? Or am I just out of luck?

This is extremly frustraiting and honestly disappointing. This is a company that should at least provide more support for small business owners, as many of us rely on PayPal to make a living.

Most common reasons for an account limitation are:-

1. You have a previously limited account (temporary or permanent) and you have tried to open a new account and not resolved the issues with the other account first.
2. Using a VPN.
3. Not being in the country where you have opened a Paypal account.
4. Being under 18 / minor account.
5. Having 2 Paypal accounts or more of the same account type.
6. Not having your legal name on your Paypal account.
7. Selling items (often virtual or digital) that Paypal consider a high risk of disputes/chargebacks OR items that violate their acceptable use policy.
8. Using the friends/family option for sales transactions to try and evade Paypal fees and risk of disputes.

If none of those then.........

You need to contact customer services to resolve any limitation or account specific issues.
Click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available for your country.

Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
