Account permanently Limited for being a "minor" when obviously not

Today I tried to confirm my age and address, as I have never really used paypal. after taking a photo of my licence and using a bank statement to confirm my address, it said that my account has been permanently restricted because it believes that I'm under 18 which is clearly untrue on my licence. How can I remove this restriction from my account and add my real age. I couldn't find anywhere on the paypal page where I could fix this. I also tried to fix it through the resolution centre but it won't even let me into that and just says "You can no longer use Paypal".

if anyone can help that would be wonderful.

Thanks

Hey @Zodysar

Thank you for your post and welcome to the PayPal Community Forum!

I understand this may have been a shock for you.

It sounds like your account was limited as the review determined that you were under the age of 18 before your account was created. According to our PayPal User Agreement, you must be at least 18 years old to sign up for a PayPal account.

In order to have your account reviewed and get more assistance with this, I would advise reaching out to our customer service team directly.

To contact our customer service team, click 'Help' or 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal Webpage.

You can also contact us via Facebook PM's or Twitter DM's.

I hope this helps, have a nice day!
