Venmo is not eligible - Unable to render Venmo button using SDK v5 in live mode

Hello everyone,

I'm currently using PayPal's JavaScript SDK (v5) in a production environment, and I'm having an issue with Venmo payments. Everything works fine in sandbox mode, but when I switch to production, I receive an error stating that "Venmo is not eligible."

Here are some details:

• SDK Version: v5
• Environment: Production
• Venmo works as expected in sandbox mode
• Using the correct client-id for production

Using enable-funding=venmo  in the script src.

Has anyone experienced this issue or knows what might cause Venmo to be unavailable in the production environment? Are there specific criteria that need to be met for Venmo to be available to buyers in live mode?

I'm probably a month or to late but I went through this earlier this year. PayPal finally told me this is a known issue. However it is still not resolved. We're a non-profit so it's a loss of dues revenue but more-so inconvenience. It will work in Android fine, just not iOS devices.

I don't know if there has been an update to the SDK or not but it still doesn't work as expected.
