sent an incorrect payment

i was sending over some money and accidently entered the wrong email address, i have been in contact with this user and they are obviously happy to send the money back, however the amount i sent was in pounds £ and there currency is dollars $ so if they send the same amount back it wont be the correct amount with the exchange rate.

How do we resolve this?

How could they get the payment  if you used the wrong email address?

Unless they converted the currency when it arrived in their paypal account then all they have to do is click refund and the same amount should be refunded to you.

You were lucky that the wrong email address actually belonged to a paypal account holder that was happy to refund the money

Aaaah I see I misread the post. I hadnt realised the payment went to another Paypal a/c holder... yeah that WAS lucky
