refund still pending?!

i am waiting for a refund and it still says pending even though it says pending untill the 23rd which is today. does anyone know why it is still pending or if i need to do anything?

If you are talking about a refund then the pending date is a "guessimate" and hopefully your refund will complete soon.

My refund shows as completed...money went out of my bank a found...seller refunded same day as no longer available...this was 7 days ago...why has my PayPal balance not been updated to show the refund?? Please help

OK then in that case it should go back to your paypal balance.

However if you have funds in your paypal balance and buy something then paypal will always take from there rather than your normal funding source.

To see if this has happened click on the history tab of transactions around that time and click on details and see if any of them were funded from yourr paypal balance ie refund.

Well that's what I thought..but at the top it still says balance £0.00. I did a transaction yesterday and its showing that the funding source is my bank account?

Why when paying for items purchased at auction cash is instantly taken but refund your own money from a paypal hold on cash a nightmare been with ebay for around ten years had numerouse refund directly to my account now they scam you by holding it I there account we are working hard people and can't afford to have funds frozen so paypal can reap the interest unhappy ebayer

Its not instantly taken, when you pay paypal credit the seller for you and then start the process of uploading your funds from your bank account and that takes 5-7 days.

This is done so you get your item more quickly.

This is also the reason we get posts on here from buyers confused that their seller has been paid but no money has left their bank account yet.

The reason it takes long is that paypal use electronic and not wire transfer.

ive got the same problem but my date was for the 2nd which was yesterday and still nothing today, will i defo get my money? thanks.
