money says its there but isnt

i orderd a radio it didnt work so i returned it. it was pending the it finally said refund completed i got a email saying youve got cash you funds should be in your paypal account so i check and its not there. its 200.00usd so i need this money. i also checked my bank account. what could be wrong ? whats going on? its been almost a month

Did you pay the orginal payment to the seller via paypal with

1. Instant bank transfer

2. Debit card.

i bought the item off ebay i used my debit card through paypal.

If you funded the original paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.

Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c.
