Can anyone confirm what this transaction is.. it has been going off my account for some time.. didnt get round raising issue till today.. I guess it goes out mid of month under microsoft luxembourg s.a.r.l for 5.99GBP.. Please let me know what is this....

Yep, this is an xbox live gold account payment. £5.99 a month. Not sure about the £8.99 one though, could be microsoft credits as a previous poster suggested.

If you go into settings on xbox then select account then go right to your memberships and select membership  it will then tell you the renewal date, depending what you selected when you signed up for on xbox live for payment thats what you will automatically pay gold-12month £39.99,gold-3month 14.99 ,gold-1month5.99. I did not no what this payment was either so i decided to search microsoft luxembourg s.a.r.l on the internet then found this site then after seeing these comments went on my xbox and found this information, if you are unhappy with this then yo can remove this auto payment off your xbox and if you put in a dispute to paypal then they will get your money back but you will lose xbox live.... Hope this info helps.

I've just had the same thing happen to me. I noticed an email saying that I had paid Microsoft Luxembourg sarl £39.99. At first I thought it might be my annual xbox gold membership renewal, because I received an email from xbox saying they were unable to collect my annual renewal, then two days later this money came out. The reference in the email matches the reference in the billing agreement, so was this them automatically retrying? These reports are making me suspicious. I've had my hotmail account messed with before, the email would be easy enough to fake. Does anyone know how much a years gold membership costs?

Why don't you just check in your  paypal account and you should see the transaction in there.

i have checked my bank and for the last 3 months this company have taken £8.50 per month ''i did let my son use my account for 3 transactions costing $4.50 per transaction but nothing else ,, and i no my son wouldent dare use my bank details without my permission ,, how do i go about getting my money back please thanks

£8.50 is the amount for 1000 microsoft points on xbox. 5.99 is the cost of a one month subscription on xbox. Microsoft Luxembourg S.a.r.l. is xbox. You can easily cancel the amount by accessing your paypal account and clicking 'cancel' otherwise, it will recurr monthly @ 5.99.

I believe Microsoft own Netflix..so if you have signed up for Netflix check it is not them That have charged you, this has literally just happened to me and it would seem I've been paying for A Netflix account for some time that I didn't no I had...
