Still have not recieved a refund.

So i made a payment of £207.40 on ebay using my paypal credit on may 29th 2017, i never recieved the item so i then opened a dispute with ebay and paypal as the seller was ironically not getting back to me.

 

The seller then emailed me to say she was trying to refund me and it would not work and asked if i tried to close the dispute and see if it would speed it up, so stupid me i closed both the disputes and since then never had my payment back!!!!!

 

Both paypal and ebay have advised they cant help me and i really think its unfair how im being treated.

 

Is there anything i can do?

You can open x1 dispute per transaction and you NEVER close it until you have a cleared refund OR your item.

If you had to close a dispute to get a refund then there would not be any point in having a dispute process in the first place would there?

A dispute closes automatically once a refund has been made by the seller.

Paypal gave you buyer protection but you chose to negate the protection by closing the dispute.
