I was issued a refund for a payment I made for an item on eBay. I paid on 9th July and was refunded on the 17th. However, it says it was pending until the 24th and I think this was because I used my bank account to pay. I still have not got my money in my PayPal and it says it is still pending. I don't know what to do, it has been two nearly three days over the time they said I would get my money back. I have sent two emails to PayPal but no response! Hoping some people here can help me.
You are right, when you pay using an Instant Transfer and the transaction is refunded, the money can take up to 7 working days to be returned to your PayPal account. Since weekends are not counted and you mention that the payment was refunded on July 17th, the funds should clear between today and tomorrow. You can find more details here
