Refund been transfered to credit card??

Hey there. I am abit baffled  I had a refund from somebody on ebay. But my balance on here was zero. When I looked it said the refund had been transfered to credit card. I checked details & it says it was transfered to my bank card.. But I didn't transfer it, so when the refund went into Paypal, did it automatically send it to my card?? When I paid for the item on ebay, I paid via paypal, but I didnt have the funds in paypal, so it obviously took them from my bank. Just wondering how its gone onto my card from paypal on its own, and why it isnt showing on my bank balance that the moneys gone in, when it's saying completed on here? please help!!!!

A refund works like this.

1. If you funded the paypal payment that was refunded via instant bank transfer or funds in your paypal balance then the refund goes back to your paypal balance.

2. If you funded the paypal payment that was refunded via a debit card then it automatically goes back to that card but takes about a week to process back to your bank account.

3. If you funded the paypal payment that was refunded with a c.c. then it automatically goes back to that c.c but can take anything from 7-30 days but in my experience its nearer a week.

im in the same boat! bought somethin off ebay cancelled it with the seller so he didnt claim the money,now its just sayin my money is `unclaimed` but i have no money in my balance?????  wat the hell do i do? pissin me off

Yours is a different problem.

Does it have a cancel option next to the word unclaimed as the answer is different if it has or has not??
