Receiving payment requests for an item I have already paid for.

Hi there,

I bought an item from a non ebay site and paid for it using PayPal on 12.12.12.

On 14.12.12 i received a payment request saying that i urgently need to pay for the item. I cancelled the request and emailed them to explain that I had paid and my PayPal and bank account had both been debited. I then received another request that threatened me with debt collection if i didnt pay and an extra charge on top on the original amount.

I am not getting a reply from the company and unable to get through to them.

Any help on this matter will be appreciated. Thanks

Threaten you with debt collectors?? You are really joking aren't you????

They can't do that as you have not even got the item!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally i would not continue buying from them.

Does it say the transaction is completed in your paypal account or unclaimed?

Was it a website? International or ebay?

I have received the item.

The transaction says it is completed in my paypal account. Also the money has come out of my bank account too.

It was a ps3 game bought from shopto.net. I have purchased from them previously with no problem, but i will not be using them again.  My account with them also sats that the transaction is complete.

Well there is nothing they can do if you paid them via the website and the transaction is marked as completed.

Send them the transaction i.d. and tell them you have paid...end of.
