Here's a phishing email that nearly caught me.
I bought a coach ticket from thetrainline.com about a month ago.
I read this email this morning and was really confused. I opened it when I got home and followed the link in the sentence:
If you did not initiate this transaction, we recommend that you go to: Manage/Cancel Transaction
Luckily, chrome warned me of the suspicious website, before I checked the URL and realised it was a phishing (login) page of the form "login.paypal.phisingdomain.com."
(paypal.co.uk.user***********.gowritemez.com)
I believe thetrainline was probably hacked and the culprit is phishing the accounts of those who've used the website, by sending them the phishing email.
